Is Pilot Right for Your Child?

Our admission procedures are designed to determine whether Pilot’s approach to learning will be the most beneficial alternative for the applicant. The process begins with an initial parent meeting with the Director. Educational and psychological evaluations are reviewed. A speech, language, or occupational therapy evaluation may also be requested. From this information, the child’s strengths, weaknesses, and associated learning difficulties are identified.

Once a child is accepted to The Pilot School, his or her individual program design is based on information collected during the admission process, along with results from additional diagnostic testing completed by Pilot. If a child is not accepted, the information helps point the way toward better options. Students are admitted regardless of race, religion, sex, or nationality.
