After School Care
Kids Club is an afterschool program that runs from dismissal until 6:00pm. Students can take part in structured activities or free play, both indoors and outside. For those interested, we offer a homework support space. This is a fee-for-service program, and parents can opt into a range of options. In the event of a last-minute need, Kids Club is available to all Pilot families through a drop-in rate.
Home & School Association
Pilot’s Home and School Association, HSA, provides parents with the opportunity to enrich our students’ experience through a variety of volunteer efforts. The relationship between our families and our educational staff is one of the hallmarks of The Pilot School experience and HSA offers additional avenues to be involved in your child’s community. There is something for everyone!
There are opportunities to work with students, faculty, other parents, or the larger community. Parents volunteer to help build awareness of Pilot, welcome new families, educate parents, appreciate faculty and staff, organize fundraising projects, volunteer in the library and for book fairs, cook, bake, or decorate.
Some of the events HSA assists with are Meet the Teachers Night, Homeroom Parent, New Families Orientation, Field Day, Family Fun Night, Holiday Program, Book Fairs, Commencement, Skating Party, and the Golf Outing.
However parents choose to share their time, it is a benefit to our parents, students, and faculty. All families are invited to reach out to see how they can be involved at homeandschool@pilotschool.org.
Still Have questions about being a Pilot parent?
We listen to and support our Pilot parents in any way that we can. If you have questions about after school care, volunteer opportunities, or the Home and School Association, then we would love to hear from you!
